Mary's Stampin' Moments

Hello.  I finally managed to make a card for the Around The World Stampin' Up! Challenges Which I just noticed it's the last one because of the lack of participants! =(  Here's my card This is the challenge I stamped the Dictionary stamp with Crisp Cantaloupe ink stamped off once, then used the Stampin' Distress tool on the edge  I colored the flower stamp from the NEW  "You've Got This" stamp set with a blender pen and Hello Honey ink, fussy cut it out with Paper Snips, then popped it up on Dimentionals. I colored the stem with Wild Wasabi. "I'm here for you" stamp from the same set, was inked with Lost Lagoon and Heat Embossed in Clear embossing powder. I put a Dimentional on the left side and stapled the right side. Then with a little Lace Trim and Gold Baker's Twine and done! Thanks for stopping by! The new Bohemian DSP!! It's Bold and Gorgeous! I made a card with some new Catalog items. Take a peek! This one is fairly simple. Whisper white cardstock base, a piece of Bohemian Designer Series Paper, the new IN Colors 2015-2017 Mint Macaron, Delightful Dijon and Tip Top Taupe Blossom Accents  AND the new 1" Dotted Lace Trim in Delightful Dijon! It's so soft and pliable!  A close up of the In Color 2015-17 Blossom Accents. I dipped them in VersaMark , then dipped them in Heat and Stick Powder, then heated them with the Heat Tool, Then I dipped them in Dazzling Diamonds Glitter and heat set again for a few seconds and VIOLA! Sparkle!!  Embossed these with Chalk Talk which is Retiring on June 2, 2015 when the new catalog comes out. The dies will still be available with a new stamp set. Hello again. Exciting stuff is on it's way! The new catalog is going live on June 2, 2015! Until then get the RETIRING stamps and accessories before they're gone! Some are discounted! And the accessories do go fast!! So here's a card for you that I cased from the new catty with current stuff. Birthday Bash DSP, Watercolor Paper I used a clear block and ink pad and "stamped" the watercolor paper AFTER I spayed water onto  paper. If it was too dark I just spayed with more water and dabbed it dry with paper towel. Then I dried it all the way with the Heat Tool. You get a different look each time. Here's a close up. I embossed all the stamps with Black Embossing Powder. Then I embossed the Goose on Typeset Specialty DSP ( love this paper!) Then I cut it out and Paper Pieced it onto the goose on the Watercolor Paper. Soo... I didn't like the blue stripe with that goose so I tried again! Here it is.
